Albert Einstein on Great Spirits

Apr 15, 2022 | Conscious Leadership, Daily Trek

Albert Einstein - Radical Trekking - Ayelet Baron

Albert Einstein joins us today with his timely insights, “Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.”

Can we allow ourselves to be people of vision and passion, as well as courage? Albert Einstein reminds us to stay our course despite all the storm and fear outside. Being ahead of our time and pioneering new ways is rarely embraced with open arms.

This is not the time to choose the path of least resistance. There has never been a need like today for conscious leaders who are fully present with a willingness to fully express our greatest dreams and be open to opportunities that only a few can imagine.

And leadership is our own responsibility and cannot truly come from anyone outside ourselves. We cannot hand over our power any more; we need to do the work. Imagine if instead of one person envisioning healthy ways of living, there were many creating these pathways. It is all so possible but requires a high level of trust and communication.

Regardless of how things are playing out, we are here to imagine and create; not follow the crowd or fight for our lives. This is a time to tear the pages out of the books and live fully with no regrets, No mediocrity or followers need join us on this journey as it is a time for great spirits to co-author a new book with stories that make our hearts sing.

So, where are the leaders our world needs most? Well, we’re right here, and it’s up to us to find each other when we are ready. And here is a hint: conscious leaders are not swimming in the mainstream. When we look, we can find each other at the edges quietly building healthy schools, biodynamic farms, circular economies, and other healthy structures for the emerging world.

Pablo Picasso advises us that “To know what you’re going to draw, you have to begin drawing.

What are you willing to start drawing today?
