There are the times we may stay silent in meetings when we had valuable insights to share. There may be new skills we want to develop but can never find the time. And then the projects or ideas we had but never acted on out of fear, procrastination or a reason not to try.
We may not be ready to make huge changes like leaving big city life. But small steps matter and set the foundation to unleash our energy.
The reality is that sometimes these accumulate into a haunting narrative of what our life could have been if we had stepped up and seized the moment. And yes, there are so many reasons, why we can’t or don’t.
But the past is done and here we are maybe breaking the silent narrative.
So, the question is what do we choose right now. Do we share and speak our mind regardless of what people may think or say? When an opportunity arises, do we experiment and explore? Are there any concrete steps to make it real?
You don’t need anyone’s permission to build the life you want. Do you give yourself permission to experiment with new possibilities, and actively participate in writing your life’s story? When you look back, will you be grateful not to have a silent tale of regrets?
