Courageous Tests
Life is to be experienced, courageously. And we often get tested along the path with seductions and promises that are not always genuine or sincere. It’s much easier to make promises than to actually live up to them. It happens all the time.
Someone said there’s nothing to fear but fear itself. And boy oh boy, fear can be very scary at times.
Fear is placed on our path so we get acquainted with our courage, and our ability not to take anything too seriously.
Courage does not mean demonstrating bravery or winning more than losing. Making courageous choices and practicing discernment allows us to flow with life; not fight it. Courage means that we can see someone’s shenanigans, even when they are not aware, and we don’t get sucked into unnecessary drama.
Courageous Choices
Too often, we don’t want to hurt someone’s feelings. But the question is, do we have the courage not to hurt ourselves and do things at our own expense? What if we no longer need to create a life where we avoid pain and find safety?
The truly courageous leaders today are not ones who want to be famous or known. Most are not fighting or looking to win because we are too busy creating. Curiosity is what drives the courageous to play on the edges of possibilities.
And so, courage simply emerges through the uncharted path where we face some of life’s most challenging experiences.
A storm brings change. It is there to encourage the development of the muscles of our mind and heart so we can negotiate and navigate through adversity. We become more curious and able to face the storms as they come.
We live in a world that often tries to shut down our intuitive knowing. When we have a direct line to our heart, we access that rich fertile place where ideas, opportunities, and curiosity are found.
By tuning in to our inner self and truly listening, whether it’s noticing when we come alive or how we feel in a challenging situation, we will develop a stronger sense of who we are and what we want to create next.
Can you release anything that has served its purpose so you can regenerate your energy? Holding on to that which seems to want to leave your life is unhealthy and trying to control anything is usually pointless.
True power comes from being willing to trust the currents and go with the flow, and this is your biggest opportunity as you listen to the whispers of your heart.
