It all feels like a dream but all the deep questioning, reflection and sleepless nights writing created the triplets. Today is an anniversary for the F*ck the Bucket List trilogy.
The third book, F*ck the Bucket List for the Health Conscious, was birthed last year, on day #25 of my new digital nomad life. But who is counting?
This is a trek of not only writing and self-publishing the triplets but also living what’s on the pages of each book. I dream that we’re creating a world in which some day these books will not be needed because we discover our wonder (book 1), trek into the unknown (book 2) and 3 trust our hearts (book 3).
I wake up every morning laying the foundation for a healthier, conscious world of loving creators; knowing I am not alone on this mission. And that so much is possible when we dream, connect and co-create.
On Being Health Conscious
When our dreams are big and we have a vivid imagination—like my dream of having people not only experience these books but come together as conscious creators—we will fail along the way.
But we won’t see it as traditional failure. We become aware that it is the best education we will ever receive in how to be grounded in reality to see which seeds and ideas will bear fruit and which will rot.
Here is an excerpt:
“Life is a journey for each of us, with different expeditions, that sparks our willingness to bring our full self to face our challenges and opportunities. It’s a story of how you can begin to trust yourself enough to know what’s healthy and toxic for you, set boundaries, make peace with your body, mind, and soul—as well as your ancestors.
On this adventure, you learn to honor your anger, heartbreaks, and disappointments by learning forgiveness for what you didn’t have the capacity and ability to know when certain events took place in your life.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime to unleash your truest and wildest instincts so that you can be brave and courageous enough to create the healthiest life you can experience. You really deserve nothing less!”
On Trusting Your Heart
You are being invited to the biggest transformation on the planet today and it’s up to you to take the first steps. You may not know where you’re headed, but you’re becoming more courageous and curious to experience life and all it has to offer.
When you are health conscious, you become a dynamic creator of your life. You can no longer afford to sit back passively and complain or blame the world or anyone outside yourself for your problems. Why? Because you can no longer be satisfied with the world the way it is now. You consciously choose to step out of being told how to live your life.
F*ck the Bucket List for the Health Conscious serves as a wake-up call for anyone who is no longer satisfied with the way things are, and an inspiration to anyone who is trekking into the unknown.
There’s no going back when you’re walking through a gateway of awareness. You can easily lead yourself into a healthy world of possibilities. You are already on your way if you’re engaging with this trilogy. The rest is in your hands.
What if by tapping into your heart you’re already here, and you allow yourself to play and experiment as a health-conscious creator? What then? What’s whispering to you? Are you ready to listen?
More on Dreams by Alan Watts
Video or his words:
“Let’s suppose that you were able every night to dream any dream that you wanted to dream. And that you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time. Or any length of time you wanted to have.
And you would, naturally as you began on this adventure of dreams, you would fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure you could conceive. And after several nights of 75 years of total pleasure each, you would say “Well, that was pretty great.”
But now let’s have a surprise. Let’s have a dream which isn’t under control. Where something is gonna happen to me that I don’t know what it’s going to be.
And you would dig that and come out of that and say “Wow, that was a close shave, wasn’t it?”
And then you would get more and more adventurous, and you would make further and further out gambles as to what you would dream.
And finally, you would dream … where you are now. You would dream the dream of living the life that you are actually living today.”
