A Mediation and Practice
There’s nothing to give back when see show up in our humanity. What did we take that we need to give anything back?
What if we give until there’s nothing left to give, but no longer at our own expense?
Some people may have financial, structural, and emotional power. Many lead with fear and division; always wanting to be on top and win. But do they deserve our loyalty when their words don’t match their actions?
And what’s absolutely exciting is that there are so many amazing souls on this planet, like you and me, ready to generously create what we need. Opening our hearts and minds with a deep knowing that here’s another way to create healthy lives, paradigms and systems that serve us. Knowing our enough is key as we navigate these changing times.
As the sun sets, the sun also rises.
When we move away from theories and ideas to true co-creation, we live as opportunity creators, trekking into the unknown.
But fully knowing, like our breath that as the sun sets, it will rise again.
According to Thich Nhat Hanh, “our true home is in the present moment. To live in the present moment is a miracle. The miracle is not to walk on water. The miracle is to walk on the green Earth in the present moment, to appreciate the peace and beauty that are available now. Peace is all around us–in the world and in nature–and within us–in our bodies and spirits.
Once we learn to touch this peace, we will be healed and transformed. It is not a matter of faith; it is a matter of practice. We need only to find ways to bring our body and mind back to the present moment so we can touch what is refreshing, healing, and wondrous.”
When it comes to the people you put into our heart, the beliefs you put in your mind, and what your body consumes, choose wisely, and with conscious awareness of who and what is healthy and toxic to your wellbeing.
Only you have your answers, and your questions are yours too.
Imagine …. sings John Lennon with conviction:
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world …
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one.
The broken systems are falling apart and it is up to us to imagine and create what we need … we are the ones we’ve been waiting for and we are here, right now.
