Perspectives on Healthy Living
Our nervous system is constantly responding to the world around us. The energy of the people we interact with has a significant impact on our state of being.
When we are in the presence of people with pure, intentional energy, our nervous system naturally flows. And we experience a sense of calm and ease.
This is because our bodies are wired to respond to calm, nurturing energy. When we are with people who are aligned with true intentions, who radiate true caring, we feel safe and supported. And our nervous system responds accordingly.
But when we are around people who are negative or inauthentic, our nervous system unhinges. We may experience stress, anxiety, and a sense of disconnection.
Just as we weed out the bad apples in a garden because we know they are unhealthy for us, we can also take steps to protect our own energy and wellbeing. This may mean setting boundaries with people who are not aligned with our values or intentions, or simply being mindful of the people we choose to spend our time with.
By being mindful of the energy of the people we interact with, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes greater healthy living.
Our Nervous System
Why is this important to our health? Mainly because the nervous system is the central control center of our body. It is responsible for regulating vital functions such as breathing, thinking, feeling, and movement.
Comprised of the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves throughout our body, this network serves as the primary communication pathway between our brain and the rest of our body.
What if the the human body is one of the most advanced and sophisticated technologies that we have? Perhaps it is a marvel of biological engineering? And we are the navigators of everything and everyone we consume.
