Choosing to pause is available to each of us. And the next few weeks may be a great time to breath and enjoy life. We have an opportunity to make healthy choices. And become aware of what and who we are consuming. The sunset is a symbol of letting go of the day, releasing any fear of change, and dying to the old. And the sun rises naturally every morning.
Many of us have considered ourselves too busy to make time to think. Autopilot is a current state of mind that may be haunting many of us. And a pause may have always been believed to be a sign of weakness.
But why are we so busy? Can we create a life we don’t need to retreat from?
Slowing down allows us to reflect deeply and then move forward with hope, and an internal knowing of what’s infinitely possible.
We are at a turning point and have an opportunity to deeply connect, talk, listen, imagine, share, play, and collaborate on our own and in community.
Everything is right here, waiting for us to embody it and claim our power, without any judgment. It’s simply ready for us to uncover as we become whole and put together our own fragmented pieces like a huge jigsaw puzzle, wanting to create a beautiful mosaic of possibilities.
We have been gifted an unlimited ability to trust ourselves and create something meaningful while we are here. Can we pause and dig into what’s possible in 2023? And leave our busyness behind?
I always come back to this saying, often misattributed to German playwright and thinker Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: “Whatever you can do or dream you can—begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.” The key is to begin.
