The Truth About Choice
The truth about choice is that we can choose to be overwhelmed or see choice as a gift.
Many of us are feeling that things are moving faster than ever these days. And areas that we thought were stable are on shaky ground. We may have decided to make a change and all of a sudden everything around us changes in a flash.
With growing uncertainty and instability, there is fear. And our current belief systems may push us backwards to try to find a way to solve problems. There are many choosing to step into extreme beliefs as a way to cope. And we are seeing more division in some areas of our world.
The truth about choice is that choosing to do nothing is a choice.
The Times Are Changing
But like it or not, a new timeline is emerging and things no longer work in the same predictable ways that we have known and got comfortable with. And there are also some of us who are starting to trek into the unknown and respond to the shifts in a positive way rather than with fear.
What we are beginning to understand is that we have many choices. And what it comes down to is that only we can choose what is healthiest for us. We can choose to start every day with curiosity and excitement rather than recite yesterday’s problems and challenges.
It’s up to each of us to set the rhythm of our days and nights. We can choose what we want to experience, even when it turns out quite different than what we expected. That’s the fun side of the unknown.
We can release limiting beliefs and at our own pace, make choices that we only dreamed of.
The Truth About Choice as Seeds in Our Garden
And the key is not to judge ourselves too harshly by learning to be gentle. Much shifts when we become aware of the abundant choices and freedom we actually have.
Trust that your inner navigation system will resonate with the choices you choose as you move forward. At first it may mostly be into the unknown. But like all unknown situations, once you’re in it for a short time, it then becomes known and more familiar.
The truth about choice is that each choice makes a difference. They are the seeds we plant for the life we desire to live.
It is so important that we each become aware of what depletes us and what energizes us; including people, beliefs, stories and habits. And that we use the gift choice to support our wellbeing.
These are times to make choices.
When you wake up in the morning, can you see the possibilities of the day? And if so, what are you choosing?
