A child or parent who does not know where their next meal will come from has a dream to never worry about being hungry. They have no idea what it is like to have a well-stocked refrigerator or to have food sit around for so long that it goes bad and has to be thrown out. Life is guided meal by meal.
The only focus is where to find shelter, food, and clean water to make it through another day. The dream is to never go to sleep hungry. Once they are no longer hungry, a new dream emerges.
When you face which energy and resources are truly scarce and which are abundant in your life, you become aware of what you have access to. There’s an opportunity to understand what and who is for you and what and who is not for you. The question is, how much do you want it and how much energy will you invest in yourself?

“The only true voyage of discovery, the only fountain of Eternal Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to behold the hundred universes that each of them beholds, that each of them is; and . . . with men like these, we do really fly from star to star, ”shares novelist Marcel Proust.
Someone can be a fountain of knowledge and yet lack imagination. Many of us have great ideas and dreams, and it’s not always easy to know how to make them real. You may put them on a list, hoping to achieve them someday, or hoping your children or someone else might achieve them for you when they are older.
But what if you could learn how to live your intentions on a daily basis, one step at a time?
All it takes is some action, the courage to take a few steps to start creating, and at the same time learning when to flow and when to slow down.
Do you see waves of opportunity in front of you or a pile of problems? So much depends on your mindset and how you choose to see situations. Did you grow up believing it was your job to help others fulfill their dreams and that theirs were more important than yours? Who put these thoughts in your mind?
Can you trace them back to their source and focus your thinking now on trusting yourself and your intuition to fully live your life?
Maybe instead of going through all the reasons why it’s impossible, you can wrestle with all the reasons why you can begin.
