We Don’t Know
We don’t know exactly how everything will play out. Planning and goals are part of the program we were given. But we don’t really ever know what will happen next. A choice, a decision, an opportunity, a second can change our lives. That’s all it takes.
Being open and present to life entails letting go. There is a saying that depression is living in the past, anxiety is worrying about the future, and true fulfillment is living in the present.
When we stop fearing what can go wrong, and let go of past hurts and wounds, we integrate ourselves into the natural flow of life.
The path is always waiting. No one knows what is right and wrong for each of us. It’s just part of the conditioning to believe someone knows which path is best for us.
This is a journey where we can make choices about which door we want to explore: Suffering or thriving? Problems or opportunities? Oceans or mountains? Fries or salad?.
Manifesting a Tesla or Prince Charming on our doorstep is not a universal law. Intentions and making an effort are foundational to creation. And success and failure no longer influence us because we are lighter in how we approach each situation and person.
It’s A Trek
Radical (grounded and rooted) curiosity, honesty, humility, openness, compassion, courage, discernment and awareness provide us with an ability to live a meaningful life. Being truly human comes naturally, with no judgment, and an openness to greet each day with wonder and awe.
The road may sometimes have potholes. Our shoes might get wet and muddy. There may be a tear in our favorite jeans. And we may grieve a terrible loss. There will be difficult moments at unexpected junctions that make us stronger.
But all of this messiness makes us who we are when we choose to show up as ourselves in every aspect of our lives. This trek is our story to write. We don’t know until we do. And then, we don’t fully know again when life is a wild adventure of the heart.
